June 26, 2017-I managed to get an afternoon of birding in on my business trip to Washington. I ended up logging 10 miles of walking round trip to get to a natural preserve called Juanita Bay Park. I found some beautiful birds and managed to get a shot of a Wood Duck and, while they are beautiful birds, my shot was of a male in non-breeding plumage which was a little underwhelming. I was able to add four birds to my total so it was a successful journey.
