July 12, 2015- This weekend I went to a couple of places that were a little out of the way. Saturday went to Tucker Wildlife Reserve. I don’t believe I’ve had a scarier ride since I took the road to Hana in Hawaii. I went all that way looking for a quail and wasn’t disappointed. In addition to the quail, I added three more birds on Saturday.

Sunday I went to Oak Canyon reserve in Anaheim Hills. Really a beautiful, well-kept area that had a lot of different types of foliage. A wide variety of birds as well. Managed to add five more birds from there. So adding nine birds this weekend was pleasantly surprising.
