April 12, 2015- In doing some research, I discovered that Tewinkle Park has had numerous rare bird sightings, so I paid it a visit today. It is a family, public park but looks kind of like an oasis in the middle of Costa Mesa. I found some pretty cool birds. (Note to Self: try visiting at a time that is not noon on a Sunday.) Not many rare birds are going to be going by with kids running all over the place. Will think about dawn or dusk as a better time to look next time I drop by.
